MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I'm your coach, Jac.

Since 2016, I’ve worked as a first responder in several different capacities including Primary Care Paramedic, Correctional Peace Officer, and Reserve Military Medic. Prior to that, I worked as a behaviour therapist for kids with severe developmental disabilities.

Experiencing high demands and chronic stress has become common place in my work environment.

​

Although my love for working as a first responder has stayed strong over the years, I found myself struggling with the effects of long-term stress and over-exertion. Working in the environments that I did, I accepted the narrative that I had to push through the challenges and do whatever I needed to do to get through to the next minute, next hour, and next day.

Although this helped me develop a high level of grit, this approach eventually led to severe burnout.

During the peak of my burnout, I experienced debilitating emotions including anger, emotional shut-down and grief. I also experienced physical symptoms including exhaustion, chronic illnesses, poor digestion and insomnia.

​

At this point I realized that living my life this way simply wasn’t sustainable. Wanting to stay in the field and at the same time live a happy and healthy lifestyle, I started to learn what I could in order to achieve this balance.

 

At this point, I began a deep dive into understanding the nervous system and nervous system regulation. This was essential since chronic and acute stress were the root cause of my problems. However, if you’re like me (and like most people with high-demand careers and lifestyles), you can’t always control the burdens that are placed on you. With this awareness, Theta Method was created.

Join me as I teach you effective ways to develop sustainable physical and mental resilience, as well as how to reprogram your body and brain to respond to stress in a more effective and sustainable way.

  • 25hr Meditation Coach Training 

  • 25hr Breath work Coach Training
